Fight the Winter Blues with The Taste of Fairfield – Winterfest

The holidays are over, which means that feeling of winter gloominess is likely setting in for some. Chances are you’re looking for ways to liven up your January while staying warm. Luckily, The Taste of Fairfield is heating things up with one of our favorite events – Winterfest.  

If you’ve attended any of the Taste of Fairfield’s past events, you know they are not to be missed. Winterfest 2020 will take place in the cozy Brooklawn Country Club on January 26th from 1 pm to 4 pm. The event hosts local restaurants, breweries, wineries, and distilleries who serve up their favorites all day long. Featuring over 35 booths with samples and recipes, it’s impossible to leave bored or hungry. Whether you’re a die-hard foodie or simply looking for a fun way to spend your Sunday, this event is for everyone.  

This year’s theme? Superbowl Sunday party! Fairfield Restaurants will feature some of their most comforting winter foods, perfect for parties and game days. Oh, and did we mention that Winterfest falls on the NFL off–week? Enjoy all your favorite football foods, along with new ideas to add to your spread. Food and drink you can enjoy at the event: pizza, pulled-port sliders, moo shu pork tacos, stuffed clams, beef chili, and much, much more!  

Delamar Southport has hosted the Taste of Fairfield’s October event over the past 3 years and is pleased to be a part of Winterfest this year. We’re excited to announce Artisan Southport will be returning to Winterfest 2020 with our farm-to-table cuisine you won’t want to miss.  

Winterfest is more than just the delicious food and drink from the booths. The day will include live music, stand-up comedy and a photo-booth. An eight-lane bowling alley, located at the lower-level of the club, will be up and running for the day, so be sure to enter the Winterfest bowling tournament. 

Part of the proceeds of Winterfest will go to Operation Hope, an organization offering food and shelter to those in need in Fairfield County. Tickets are $55 when you buy in advance, or $100 for VIP, which includes access to a VIP lounge and an open bar. All tickets include food, drink, and entertainment. Must be 21+ to consume alcoholic beverages, but any age is welcome.
