How to Stay Safe This Holiday Season at the Delamar

The holiday season is upon us and due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, we might be looking at different ways to celebrate this year. Stay safe and sound this holiday season and start your new tradition with Delamar.

Sleeping Accommodations During the Holidays

If you are traveling within the same state for the holidays, consider staying in a hotel nearby instead of at your relatives’ home. If you’re having out-of-town guests, suggest that they do same. The CDC recommends that anyone who doesn’t share a home keep a safe distance 6-feet apart.

At Delamar, we have safe accommodations for your holiday guests. We encourage mask wearing and maintaining a safe distance throughout all hotel areas, including the lobby, restaurants and fitness centers.

Traveling Out-of-State During the Holidays and Coronavirus

If you are traveling this holiday season, keeping you and your family safe is important. It  is important to look up the travel restrictions before you depart. They are changing frequently and might be different from the day you booked your travel.

In accordance with Centers of Disease Control (CDC) guidelines, Delamar is committed to protecting the wellbeing of our guests and employees while delivering the exceptional experience that you’ve come to expect from our luxury boutique hotels.

Dining Out this Holiday Season

If you normally share the cooking during the holiday season, don’t worry. There are other options than a home-cooked meal this season. Consider making a reservation and dining with us for Christmas and New Years with your immediate family.

Our award-winning restaurants in Greenwich, Southport, and West Hartford are open for indoor and outdoor dining. Our dining areas have been expanded to keep six feet difference between tables and partitions have been built to separate tables. Disposable menus or QR codes are being used and waitstaff is required to wear marks to maintain safety.

If you don’t feel comfortable dining out, we are also offering room service and takeout.

Always remember these safety tips

  • Take your temperature before you gather. If you’re feel ill, stay home! If you suspect someone in your party might be exposed to the virus, please ask them to stay home as well.
  • Wear face coverings and maintain a 6 feet distance.
