Lou Dumont 5-Course Wine Dinner at Artisan (Feb 22)
Lou Dumont offers French wine with a Japanese approach to wine making. Japanese Sommelier Koji Nakada and his mentor, Jae Hwa Park, formed Maison Lou Dumont in 2000 with the idea that a respectful and balanced approach to the environment and viticultural practices elicits the highest quality juice. The three Japanese characters on their label stand for sky, earth, and man, with all three together representing the concept of terroir. Chef Frederic Kieffer has put together dishes that highlight the unique characteristics of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in their respective terroirs.
