Weekend trips with your close friends are a great way to relax, unwind, catch up and escape from the busy work life without traveling far from home. Planning a trip but not sure where to go? Here’s a list of few places right here in Connecticut perfect for a girl’s weekend away.

Located just a 40-minute ride on the Metro-North from New York City, Greenwich offers a rich history, architecture, historic neighborhoods, plenty of options for shopping, art, and food.

The historic Greenwich Avenue consists of shops and restaurants that are burrowed in buildings old and new. Some of the many shops and restaurants include Saks Fifth Avenue, J. Crew, Simon Pearce, Betteridge, Rag & Bone, and Zara.
