TRAVERSE CITY PIT SPITTERS HOME GAMES — JUNE – AUGUST 13, 2022
Baseball season is back! The 2022 schedule for the Traverse City Pit Spitters includes 7 Friday night fireworks games and a day/night doubleheader against the Kenosha Kingfish. Their last game of the regular season will be at home against the Kokomo Jackrabbits on Saturday, August 13th. Get your season tickets for 2022.
95TH ANNUAL CHERRY FESTIVAL — JULY 2 – 9, 2022
Traverse City is considered the “Cherry Capital of the World” and is the largest producer of tart cherries in the United States. The National Cherry Festivalwas created to celebrate and promote cherries, community involvement, and the Grand Traverse Region. The 2022 event will feature the familiar Porch Parade, as well as events like the Arts & Crafts Fair, the Old Town Car Show, and the Great American Duck Race.
NORTHWESTERN MICHIGAN FAIR — AUGUST 7 – 13, 2022
Held at the Northwestern County Fairgrounds, this fair will feature fun for the entire family including children’s activities, agricultural exhibits, entertainment, music, midway rides, a demo derby, bingo tents, and a wide variety of food and attractions.
CONCERTS ON THE LAWN AT THE GRAND TRAVERSE PAVILIONS — JULY 7 – AUGUST 25, 2022
The Grand Traverse Pavilions’ 2022 Concerts on the Lawn series will be held every Thursday at 7:00 PM. Come listen to music, enjoy the warm summer evenings with friends and family, and grab a bite to eat from the concession stands. The concerts are free to attend!
TRAVERSE CITY HORSE SHOW — June – September 18, 2022
Experience the excitement of horse races in Traverse City! The Traverse City Horse Show is galloping through September 18th full of FEI and National-level jumper, hunter, and equestrian competition.
This year, the Traverse City Horse Show is celebrating the return of public spectators, as the last two years were closed to the public due to the pandemic. So newcomers and equestrian regulars alike, visiting the TCHS this summer is a must.
