Ski Sundown

Powder Ridge Mountain Park & Resort

Also located just 30 minutes from Delamar West Hartford, Power Ridge offers everything from skiing, snowboarding, snow biking, and tubing. They also offer lessons for children and adults alike using Terrain Based Learning System, making learning to ski or snowboard easier and more fun.
Go on a Hike or Snowshoeing
Scenic trails can be found on nearly every corner of Connecticut. Take a leisurely walk at Westmoor Park Trail or Trout Brook Trail, or view the breathtaking woodlands at West Hartford Reservoirs and Reservoir 6. The Greenwich Audubon Center hosts seven sanctuaries and trails where you can view hawks in their natural habitat. The historic Appalachian Trail also runs through the state. The portion of the Appalachian Trail that runs along the Housatonic River is also handicap accessible.
Talcott Mountain Trail, located within Talcott Mountain State park just a quick 15 min drive from Delamar West Hartford, offers 2.5 miles of a loop trail perfect for snowshoeing. If your furry friend will be joining you on your weekend hike or snowshoeing trip, be sure to stay the night at any of dog-friendly Delamar locations.

Stamford Museum & Nature Center

The Bushnell

For 90 years, The Bushnell has been central to life in Greater Hartford. It is home to year-round performances ranging from the symphony to Broadway productions, to stand-up comedy.

New Britain Museum of American Art

Founded in 1902, this is the first museum in the US dedicated to American Art. The museum hosts 10,000 American works of art from 1740 to the present, and is located at a quick drive away from Delamar West Hartford.

Downtown Greenwich
