Incoming Travel Advisory Update:

Incoming Travel Advisory Update: Effective 11:59pm on Wednesday June 24, 2020 as per CT Governor’s announcement, anyone traveling into Connecticut from a state that has a new daily positive test rate higher than 10 per 100,000 residents or a state with a 10% or higher positivity rate over a 7-day rolling average are directed to self-quarantine for a 14-day period from the time of last contact within the identified state. As of Tuesday, July 7, there are nineteen states that meet the criteria: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nevada, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas & Utah.

We at Delamar hotels look forward to welcoming you. While our standard cleaning routines have always been thorough, we have implemented new procedures at all our hotels. In accordance with Centers of Disease Control (CDC) guidelines, we are committed to protecting the wellbeing of our guests and employees while delivering the exceptional experience that you’ve come to expect from our luxury boutique hotels. 

We have amended our brand standard amenities and services to ensure you will feel relaxed and rejuvenated. Please find an overview of our safety precautions, services, and amenities.  

What to expect upon your arrival
  • Self-Parking
  • Guests and employees are required to wear face masks in public areas of our hotels.
  • Hand sanitizer stations are located in our hotel lobbies. Guests and employees must use hand sanitizer upon entering hotel.
  • You will be given a complimentary mask upon check in.
  • Plexi-glass shields have been installed at our registration desks. Pen and guestroom key cards have been sanitized, and you may keep your new Delamar pen.
  • Bell Carts are sanitized prior to and after each use.
  • Only two people or families of more than two people, are permitted in our elevator at one time
Practicing Social Distancing
  • Our furniture in our lobbies has been rearranged in order to practice social distancing.
  • Social Distancing signage is posted around the hotel for guests to maintain a six-foot distance. This includes standing in queue lines, using elevators, and any other public area.

Our Guest rooms
  • Our hotels use BioSpray® surface sanitation systems that clean, sanitize and disinfect contact surfaces in our guestrooms and all public areas.
  • Guest rooms are deep cleaned with industry leading cleaning and sanitizing products. Includes extra attention to high-touch items including television remote controls, toilet seats and handles, hair dryers, door and furniture handles, water faucet handles, nightstands, telephones, in-room control panels, light switches, temperature control panels, alarm clocks, luggage racks and flooring.
  • Housekeeping service is available upon request.
  • BVLGARI®toiletry amenities are provided for your individual use.
  • Plush Robes in guestroom are professionally cleaned.
Public Areas
  • Our hotels use BioSpray® surface sanitation systems that clean, sanitize and disinfect contact surfaces in our guestrooms and all public areas.
  • The frequency of cleaning and sanitizing throughout the day has been increased in all public spaces with an emphasis on frequent contact surfaces including, but not limited to, front desk check-in counters, bell desks, elevators and elevator button panels, door handles, public bathrooms, room keys and locks, ATMs, stair handrails, fitness center equipment, business center equipment, and seating areas.
  • Fitness Center will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized frequently throughout the day. Some of our fitness machines are not turned on in order to practice social distancing. Four people at one time are permitted; Two people at one time in our Southport location.
Relax and Enjoy our amended Services & Amenities
  • Complimentary Grab & Go Breakfast available in our lobby.
  • Mini-bar items for purchase and delivered upon request.
  • Ice, cups, additional towels and linens available and delivered upon request.
  • Bicycle Rentals are available to enjoy the outdoors (Southport & Greenwich only).
  • Dogs are warmly welcomed, up to 100 pounds. We offer your pooch a welcome treat, dog bed and bowls are available upon request. Nightly $50 fee applies.
Our Restaurants 

Our award-winning restaurants in Greenwich, Southport, and West Hartford are open for indoor dining, outdoor dining, room service and take out.

  • Dining areas have been expanded with six feet between each table.
  • Advanced Reservations required for outdoor dining.
  • Disposable menus are used.
  • Waitstaff will be wearing masks.

Our Spas are open and we allow only one spa therapist and one guest in the spa at any time.

Events

Our dedicated Catering Team will work with you to customize and curate your event based on current CDC and state guidelines. Our event set-up arrangements allow for physical distancing between guests for all gatherings.

Wellbeing of our Guests & Employees:

The health and safety of our guests and employees is paramount and will continue to be the main priority at Delamar hotels.

  • Temperature Screening – Employees will undergo temperature checks at the start of each shift.
  • Employee Illness – All hotel employees have been briefed on CHD and WHO guidelines on maintaining good health at home and at the workplace. All hotel employees are not permitted to travel abroad, and any employee that feels ill must remain home. Those who may have been exposed to COVID-19 must quarantine themselves for 14 days prior to returning to work.
  • Employee & Guest Health Concerns – Employees are instructed to contact a manager if they notice a coworker or guest with a cough, shortness of breath, or other signs of COVID-19. They have been given clear instructions on how to respond swiftly and report all presumed cases of COVID-19 on property to appropriate health authorities.
  • Room Recovery Protocol – In the event of presumptive case of COVID-19, the guest’s room will be removed from service and quarantined. The guest room will not be returned to service until the case has been confirmed or cleared. In the event of a positive case, the room will only be returned to service after undergoing an enhanced sanitization protocol and approval by a governmental health organization.
